Pros
I am impressed with this Android TV. Setup was largely automatic courtesy of the built-in installation wizard. The TV is beneath our combi-boiler in the kitchen and WiFi reception from out Plusnet router was poor there so I plugged a £15 TP-Link WiFi extender into a socket between the router and TV and it now works brilliantly. Google Assistant (similar to Alexa) works well after the TV has finished loading everything up after power has been turned off. If you don't want to wait then leave it on standby. The picture is vibrant and does not suffer from pixellation during action scenes unlike our older Toshiba. The only negative point is the tinny sound quality but a mini soundbar sorts that out.
Cons
This TV is unusable.. there is a 1 to 2 minute delay for any action you want to do, change the volume 2 minutes later the volume changes, click the Netflix app 2 minutes until it open, then followed by it crashing and the process starting all over again. I thought I would try and cast from my phone however all it ever wants to do is buffer, I have 300 mbs broadband and have tried a different TV in the same place which worked fine so I know it's not the coverage or in a dead zone. I have contacted cello asking if I have got a defective product but still no response so 1 star.. this is a shame as I really wanted a good manufacturer of smart TVs that was UK based.
