Pros
Well designed and fast my needs for a Windows machine are limited to running a database and embedding some word files within so don’t really tax the processor. It’s quick to update Windows when patches arrive which to me is a godsend as my replaced laptop could take several hours for one of the MS updated. Can really recommend this machine. However it was rather expensive in comparison with other sellers at the time but it was during lock down and I needed it urgently.
Cons
I ordered this computer recently, which comes highly recommended by multiple sources, for my wife. The WiFi adapter just refuses to work however, which means she can't get online with it. The Windows troubleshooter displays all sorts of obnoxious messages about there being driver or hardware-related problems, which are very difficult for a non-technical person to sort out. My warm feelings about Dell laptops are evaporating fast - I hope Dell Support will be able to sort the problem out quickly tomorrow, otherwise I will return the machine and buy something else.
