Pros
To get the Hollywood Picture Quality UHD HDR 10+ Dolby Vision 'YOU' need to do some work (and some 'geek tech' knowledge helps a lot
15 mins Setup work ~ and the picture quality goes from 'hmm though it would be better' >> to wow! that's amazing like real Cinema this Hollywood so sharp so bright UHD/ HDR 10+, is actually very impressive
Press MENU button (near Power 0n/ off button
go to Picture settings ~
1/ You "MUST" use the "True Cinema" setting (Dolby Vision etc. supported only on this setting)
2/ Adjust Backlight Control to 50% (maybe more? your preference
3/ Brightness ~ 0 setting (default for Dolby Vision
4/ Contrast to 70% ~ 90% (or your preference
5/ Color Setting ~ Leave at 50% this is the correct RGB Gamut setting for 'Hollywood'
6/Color Profile ~ Warm 2 (default for Dolby Vision
7/ Sharpness ~ leave at 30% setting (its picture 'Hollywood' setting
8/ Vivid Color ~ turn Off (default for Dolby Vision Gamut settings
9/ Adaptive Backlight Control ~ Turn to OFF (ON reduces picture brightness to very dull) its not Adaptive to parts of the Screen, effects entire Screen goes dull stays dull
10/ Ambient Sensor ~ turn OFF (dull, dim picture again and stays dull
11/ Noise Reduction and etc. all rest of 'enhancements' turn to OFF
12/ Intelligent Frame Creation ~ turn to Min (helps to upscale non HD content to near HD looking) more looks bad
13/ Clear Motion ~ OFF
Then go to 'Advanced settings' (same Picture menu
Contrast Control ~ OFF
Color Gamut ~ Auto
Gamma ~ set to 2.2 or 2.4 a bit darker (all are Dolby Vision (2.2 is default
Go to Option settings (same Picture menu
HDMI Content (Inputs) ~ HDMI 1, 2, 3 AUTO setting (enables UHD 4k automatically (gives Game mode 13msec latency & 120hz refresh
Then bottom of Picture menu go to "Copy Adjustment" to TV
(the TV itself & Sky, Virgin etc. are source UHD 4k through this TV)
Then Press "SAVE" the settings using the TV Remote Control > onto the On-Screen TV menu, then all settings are saved into the TV
(don't forget this i did first time - otherwise new settings NOT saved)
Now its actually is Hollywood Television with true 4k and UHD & HDR Dolby Vision
i initially used 'Sky Nature' its 4k UHD by default (need UHD upgrade with SKY)
Picture quality is genuinely now Jaw Dropping just staggering the difference over HD (which i thought was good, until this
Netflix Premium in UHD / HDR - viewing this TV is spectacular to say the least films look like 'Real' Cinema in my lounge, Star Trek Discovery, Cursed and etc. newer TV series in UHD are all in HDR (high dynamic range) and again episodes all look feel like big Film Cinema viewing impressive very much so
Dolby Atmos 5.1 Dolby through the TV speakers is actually surprising in that it works and sounds good! +10 on both Bass and Treble helpsafter doing this I'm now very happy at only £750 i have excellent 4k Quality, only OLED TV,s maybe better? but way more expensive by 50% at least
Cons
I was disappointed with the ghosting on the screen, very bad on older shows, not what I would expect from a tv of this calibre plus some channels have narration enhancement that I cant stop and the beep when changing channels is not there all the time.
