Pros

I decided to replace my Sonos One having had a few issues with it and without hesitation went back to Bose.

I’d previously had a Bose Sounddock but decided on a change. BIG mistake for me. Regretted changing to Sonos. Had problems with it right from initial setup really, but I persevered.

So here I am back with Bose and I couldn’t be happier. Easy to set up, easy to use.

Fantastic rich sound quality that packs a punch.

All very straight forward and no waving your arm in the air around the room to get a decent enough sound during setup.

Worth every penny.

Cons

Well, we were looking forward to our new Bose purchase. We know and expect a certain quality from Bose, we’ve had a Wave Music system for many years now.

We were very disappointed. We didn’t get to hear or use the HS 300. You need the Bose app to get started and set up on a smart phone. Alexa is built in. Set up your account password and Amazon password. That’s where it all fell down. After an initial start up it failed every time on accepting the password and other certain parameters failed too. Customer service is practically nonexistent! I had to go through WhatsApp to do “live chat” we waited over 4 hours before someone decided to “Chat” Appalling, very poor. Bose app is not good and you can’t use HS 300 without it.

I returned the unit and cancelled. Beware!
