Pros

The computer arrived on time and was very well packed - plenty of bubble wrap and packing material. There was no chance of any component being damaged in transit.

Set up only took a few minutes, however initially the monitor didn't show a image, which was disappointing- a bit of wiggling of the cable/connectors showed that there is a problem there, but the screen did eventually spring to life. So there's something to be looked into here, but for now it is working fine.

The 22" monitor is excellent. There are minor scuffs on the base but the screen (the bit that matters) is very sharp and I'm really happy with it.

The system box is in very good condition, no marks or damage that I can see.

As mentioned in some of the other comments, Intelliscope included a slightly better system than the one I ordered. a 380 with a 2.5ghz processor rather than the 780 with a 2,.4ghz processor. Also the DVD drive is a R/W rather than just a ROM. Thank you Intelliscope!

Bearing in mind that this is an older system, Windows 10 does manage to run satisfactorily but performance isn't anything to write home about. The hard disk can be heard working it's socks off when a couple of applications are running.

This isn't much of a worry to me as I have already installed Linux Mint in a dual boot configuration. Linux being my operating system of choice. Linux Mint with the MATE desktop is much more comfortable on this machine than Windows 10.

Overall I would say that this machine is excellent value for money. The monitor is fantastic and the system is powerful enough for basic computing tasks (web browsing, word processing etc) under Windows 10. With Linux running everything becomes noticeably slicker and more responsive. So far this is one very happy customer.

Cons

When I ordered this computer package, I knew it was a renewed product, and didn't expect it to be pristine. But I thought Amazon Renewed would have a certain standard. The item was delivered fairly quickly. However the mount for the monitor was a strange contraption that didn't seem at all like a desktop monitor mount.It wouldn't allow the monitor to be placed in an upright position. It was covered in dust. When I tried to attach the monitor to it, I found it was incompatible with the NEC monitor that I was supplied with. There was a piece of plastic trim around the fitting plate of the mount that was wider than the space on the back of the monitor. I would have just ordered a universal monitor mount for it, but I thought it best to set it up and check if it all worked first. It didn't. The computer switched on ok. But the monitor was not working properly. Over 3/4 of the screen was either white or there were lots of random lines over the screen. I obviously couldn't tell if the computer was working properly because of this. It is disgraceful that a product like this can be sent out under the Amazon Renewed scheme. I will never buy anything new, used or renewed from Amazon Marketplace again. I am sending this shoddy product back.
